Renewing a Borrowing Request

Items will not be automatically renewed; instead, you will need to request a renewal from the lending institution.

• Option 1 – Renewing from Page 1+ My Library Card [PREFERRED METHOD]
  • Patrons can request a renewal using Page 1+
  •  It does not automatically renew the item as the renewal request is mediated in the Borrowing Requests
  • Once a patron submits the request, they will see a Pending Approval status:

• Option 2 – Renewing from Manage Patron Services [PREFERRED METHOD if Option 1 is not possible]
  • Staff can request a renewal by using the Manage Patron Services
  • It does not automatically renew the item as the renewal request is mediated in the Borrowing Requests
  • Once staff submit the request, they will see a pop-up on the right-hand side stating:
