Reserve items are books and videos that either we have purchased or that instructors have put aside for student use. These items are kept at the circulation desk in the library and typically have a checkout period of one or three hours.
To check out reserve items, ask for them by title or author at the library help desk.
Three reserve items may be borrowed at a time.
Reserve items are in high demand, you cannot place holds on them.
Most books are available for an overnight loan, they will have a blue or purple sticker that says "Overnight Loan".
Overnight loans cannot be taken out as such until the hour before we close:
Overnight loans are due back the next business day, within an hour of the library opening:
We are closed on Sundays and statutory holidays.
Faculty may put material from the Library’s collection or their own material on reserve for use by their students. Reserve items may be used within the Library only or may circulate for a one or three hour loan (please check with your Campus Library). Allow a minimum of four business days for processing.
