These are the minimum fields to be completed in Alma:  

First Name                                                                   Email Address  

Last Name                                                                   Phone Number 

Primary Identifier – L Barcode                                     Home Address 

User Group = Community  

A Special Business Card has been designed for Community Borrowers 

1. Write their name neatly in the space provided. 

2. Place the Barcode sticker starting with the letter L in the ID space. 

3. Scan that Barcode into the Primary Identifier field in the Alma Patron record.  

4. Neatly Complete Issue Date  

5. Have them sign the back of the card once they have read the community borrower policy.   

6. Place in the wallet size laminating pouch after signature.
