This guide is for SLC students learning to learn in an online or alternate delivery environment. Guide is adapted with permission from Sheridan College. New resources will be added as this guide is developed.
If you've never taken an online class before, making the shift can feel like a challenge. You might be worried that you don't have the technology skills to be successful and that being physically disconnected from your peers and professors is making it easier to procrastinate. We hope this guide will help with some of these feelings and help make it an easier transition for you to learning online.
Remember, student services remain available to you in remote format such as phone, Skype/Teams, email, and chat. Our teams will work with you to make sure you stay connected. If you have questions or are looking for extra support contact your professor or Student Success Facilitator.
