The Library offers expert help and many services that you can access remotely:
Library assistance is available by email, chat/IM, text message and eAppointment. Service hours may vary. All tutoring services are now available online.
The St. Lawrence College Library has an amazing number of digital resources available to the tri-campus community.
If you are not on campus, use SLC.me to authenticate yourself as a SLC student, faculty, or staff to access the wealth of resources licensed for our community. See details for connecting to the Library from off-campus. See our Help Page for connecting to Google Scholar off-campus.
If a desired resource is not available as a full-text version online, SLC students, faculty, and staff can place a request to the library by email Libraries@sl.on.ca.
We welcome hearing your ideas about how our libraries can enhance our online support to the SLC campus community. Send your suggestions and comments to us.
Where possible, the library has acquired electronic editions of course materials. Due to publisher restrictions, most traditional textbooks (publishers such as McGraw Hill, Pearson, Nelson, Elsevier, Cengage, and others) are not available for library licensing and distribution. Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to required course materials. Required materials lists are posted on the SLC.me student portal and purchases may be made through the College Bookstores.
