The Kingston Library has three microscopes for the use of Laboratory Sciences students.

Microscopes 1 & 2 have been loaned to the library by the School of Allied Health and the 3rd microscope was donated by the Student Association.

We have microscope kits and slides for your use. Instruction sheets are found on the lid of the microscope kit containers, please read carefully, and ensure the instructions are followed when using the equipment.

 Things to remember:

• Loan period is for 1 hour with possible extension if there is no waiting request for its use.
• Student responsibility includes cleaning the microscope, kit, and slides; repacking the kit; and returning kit and slides to circulation desk.
• Slides must be counted, and the kit inventoried before the circulation desk will check in as per the instructions on the lid.
