Borrowing Resources

Children toys and felt stories are only available to Kingston Early Childhood Education (ECE) students.

  • Toys – One week (7 days)
  •  Felt Stories – One week (7 days)

NOTE: Up to two (2) toys and two (2) felt stories can be borrowed at once.

To borrow a toy or felt story, please log into our library catalogue and place a hold on the item you would like. 

Steps

  1. Log into the SLC Library Catalogue (Click on "My Library Card" to sign in) 
  2. Go to the Children's Collection page (Click on "Special Collections") 
  3. Select TOYS or FELT STORIES
  4. Select the item you would like.
  5. Under the Get It heading, click on Request (Place Hold). 
  6. Fill in the required information and wait for your pick-up email from SLC Libraries.

Holds will be fulfilled Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Holds placed after 4:00 pm will be fulfilled the following day.

Holds are held for 2 days (48 hours) once fulfilled.

Children books and academic related material are available to borrow tri-campus.

  • Children’s books – Three weeks (21-day loan).
  • ECE Textbooks - Three weeks (21-day loan).
  • Reserves  - 3 hours. 

Find it on the shelf or put in an intra-library loan online.
