The Employment + Education Centre (EEC) is a charitable not-for-profit agency that is committed to building a vibrant, diverse and resilient community by empowering individuals to reach their goals. We are funded primarily through the federal and provincial governments which makes it possible to provide our services free of charge. - The Cooperative Care Centre - Brockville Housing PartnershipThe Cooperative Care Centre (formerly known as the Brockville Warming Centre), is a project of the Brockville Housing Partnership. The Centre is a safe, consistent and secure place where folks with no permanent residence, can stay warm and cool overnight. We operate from 4PM-8AM, everyday of the week. We have a maximum capacity of 14 guests per night that can stay at the Centre.
- Guthrie HouseGuthrie House Project provides service coordination and system navigation for vulnerable people from rural communities in North Leeds. Funds aim to improve access to services and strengthen communities. Children, families and adults are supported to connect with “the right service” required for improved quality of life.
- Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental HealthLanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH), offers mental health services to persons 16 years and over and addictions services to all ages. The main office is located in Brockville but within Leeds and Grenville counties we also have offices in Kemptville, Prescott, Delta and Gananoque as well as Smiths Falls in Lanark County. Services include case management, counselling, psychiatry, supportive housing, family and caregiver support and residential addictions treatment.

There are many factors that may lead to youth homelessness such as: family conflict, poverty, trauma, abuse, oppression, immigration, mental health, disability, addictions, or conflict with the law. With guidance from the trained professionals at Kingston Youth Shelter, youth can overcome these barriers and move on to live happy, healthy lives.

Located at 540 Montreal Street, at the corner of Joseph St., In From the Cold Emergency Shelter (IFTC) joins Home Base Housing’s Administrative and Program offices as well as the Housing Help Centre.
The In From the Cold Emergency Shelter can house up to 35 people which makes it the largest shelter in the City of Kingston for men and women, 25 years and older.
Those in need can ask about bed availability directly through the shelter by calling (613) 542-6672. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner is provided for all.
