Easter Closure 2024

All three campus libraries will be closed from Friday March 29th to Sunday March 31st for Easter weekend. All of our online resources will continue to be available during this time, and we will re-open at 8 am on Monday, April 1st. 

Easter is a significant holiday in most Christian traditions that marks the death and resurrection of Jesus. For many others it is a celebration of spring and new life in general. 

Here are a few Easter-related resources from our collections: 

Rise of the Guardians [Streaming Movie]

Dreamworks Animation

A fantasy action-adventure film that includes the Easter Bunny on a team of heroes defending the world from evil. Fun and heartfelt, with spectacular animation. Directed by Peter Ramsey who went on to direct Into the Spider-Verse. 

Jesus: A Very Short Introduction [Print Book]

Part of our “Very Short Introduction” Collection which covers a wide variety of topics. This slim volume could be a good starting point for anyone curious to learn more about Jesus as a historical figure. 

Easter Parade [Streaming Movie]

Classic Hollywood movie musical with some of the biggest stars of the 40’s. Love triangles and show business, beginning and ending with Easter celebrations.
