Paying Fines

There are two options to choose from when paying library fines. You can pay in person at the circulation desk at any library location using cash or you can pay over the phone with a credit card. To pay over-the-phone please call 613-544-5400 ext. 1705 and have your card handy.

Overdue Fines

A hold will be placed on your Library account and your St. Lawrence College account preventing you from borrowing library material, registering for courses, receiving grades, and requesting transcripts if:

  • Library materials have not been returned, or
  • Fines total $15 or more, or
  • You have outstanding fines from Queen's University
    • If you have a fine at Queen's it must be settled with them, please bring a receipt to have your SLC account cleared afterwards

The hold will be removed once library materials have been returned and/or fines are paid below $15.
